“Question: Can it be paired with Solar?
Answer: This is the perfect system to integrate with Solar as it allows the user to run the system at 50% capacity and can therefore be seamlessly integrated into Most Solar Installations, allowing for low to zero energy costs. Speak to your Solar specialist about the disposable wattage you have available to power the Smart Heating system.

Question: Can it be used under any floor covering?
Answer: There is a Smart solution for any floor covering. Most vinyl/laminate/timber have heat limitations which are catered for. These floors love low powered systems which don’t exceed set temperatures. Tiles remain one of the best heat conductors available.

Question: HWhat about high electricity costs?
Answer: This system allows the user to heat same area/coverage using 50% capacity and takes the chill out of the floor with the option to boost to 100% capacity if required. Paired with Smart Wi-Fi Thermostats allows for total energy control as well as setting time schedules to suit specific comfort requirements.

Question: What will a low powered system do to my floor temperature?
Answer: Performance is linked to many factors like weather conditions, home insulation, floor finishes etc however an 18 degrees floor will generally be raised about 9 degrees when using a low powered system to reach about 27degrees.When boosted to full capacity temperatures around 34 degrees can be expected with tiles.

Question: How is the system controlled ?
Answer: The system is Room and Floor Specific controlled by use of thermostats with booster switches. This can be done either manually at the thermostat, or the Smart heater can be linked to a Smart Wi-Fi thermostat for ease of use.

Question: What surface do you leave for final floor finish?
Answer: After installing insulation & heating the entire system is covered by a layer of self-levelling screed providing superior protection and floor finish which can be done to receive any floors specified beforehand. We make use of top reputable tried and tested self-levelling screeds to finish off the Smart Heating System.
